An alternative look for a creature from the Pohualli system. Reimagining a traditional Aztec artform in a modern, technological medium presented a choice of whether to simulate a familiar analog aesthetic or to embrace purely digital expression. Though the story of Pohualli aligned much better with a textured and aged appearance, part of the development process involved exploring some of these more ‘modern’ styles.
