Ykha Amelz

Ykha Amelz is an artist specializing in 2D illustration. Since 2008, using both traditional and digital tools as her media, she has been compiling a solid portfolio as an illustrator for a variety of projects. However, it wasn't until 2012 when she started doodling her beloved pet, Babbot, that her true calling in art emerged. This reignited her love for cartoons and comics, leading to a significant change in her illustration style. She blends her inner-child nostalgia and chaotic mind into a vibrant universe inhabited by a family of cartoon characters in a cathartic way. Initially used as a way to deal with work frustrations, her playful characters now charmed and uplifted audiences of all ages. Resulting in local and international recognition that led to exhibitions, a published book, and collaborations with major global brands such as Vans, Lacoste, Coach, Samsung, Spotify, and many more.
